| Bio: | Dr. Smith holds diverse involvement and experience in the field of education. She holds a B.S. in Special Education, with certifications in Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, and Mental Retardation. She holds a M.S. in Education in Curriculum & Instruction, with a Minor in Literacy. Her Doctorate is in Education, with a concentration on child and youth studies. Now in the Higher Education field, Dr. Smith has been an active participant at the University and the broader community. These include the following: Appointed Site Coordinator and Survey Administrator US-TEDS Reasearch Serve on Editorial Board and Manuscript Reviewer, MWERA
