Her educational background is in the area of education, health services and business administration. Her doctorate degree along with other degrees are mainly from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She has over 20 years of teaching, administrative, and consulting experience, having taught live and online classes and at all levels from Associates to Doctorate.

Dr. Zakery takes pride in relating to each of her students, faculty and staff, and I will do her best to be very understanding as they try to balance classes, work and family. 

When she is not engaged in schoolwork, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Dr. Zakery also enjoys outdoor activities and cross word puzzles.
