Career Planning

Orientation Sessions: Orientation sessions are offered to help acquaint students with all services provided. Students are encouraged to make appointments for an orientation session.

Career Counseling: Individual counseling appointments can be made for assistance with issues such as choice of major, exploring career alternatives, career transitions, resume development, interviewing skills and job search strategies. Interest and personality inventories may be used to facilitate self-assessment.

Career Development Workshops: Workshops are offered each semester on resume writing, interviewing techniques, job search strategies, how to make the most of a job fair and related professional development topics.

Occupation and Industry Information: Resources are available in the Career Resource Center (CRC) to provide students with information about occupations, career fields, resume writing, job search strategies, interviewing techniques, labor market trends, employers and job openings. Resources (.pdf)
