International

Applicants residing outside of the U.S. can apply by submitting: 

  • A complete online applicaton.
  • Official copies of all college/university transcripts, if applicable (Foreign college transcripts will need to be submitted to NAIA InCred for a course by course evaluation)
  • Official copies of your high school transcript (Foreign high school transcripts will need to be submitted to NAIA InCred for a basic evaluation) If you have completed 30 or more transferable credit hours at a college/university, a high school transcript is not required.
  • Official record of your ACT or SAT scores.

  • A $20 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Proof of English proficiency. Minimum requirement is:
    • TOEFL – 61
    • IELTS – 5.5
    • PTE-A – 44
  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of previous I-20 and F-1 Visa (If transferring from another institution)
  • Health Forms
  • Statement of Finances – An official bank statement/letter, translated into English, must show funds to cover one year of all expenses, and be less than six months old. This amount is $21,163.52 (Housing and book fees included)
  • Affidavit of Support (Only if the bank document is not in the student’s name)
  • Money on Deposit - A deposit of funds at the University to cover tuition and fees for an international student for at least one semester. Currently the amount is $5226.36. Money on deposit can be paid online through the Office of the Bursar. 

 I-20 FORM: The I-20 form required by the Department of Homeland Security, is issued upon receipt of a completed application, health form, official transcripts, notarized statement of support and money on deposit. Harris-Stowe State University will begin processing the request for acceptance after all items have been received by the Office of Admissions.
