Residential Life Student Staff

Resident Assistant

Resident Assistants are assigned to a floor of approximately 45 – 68 individuals.  Their primary responsibility is to act as a facilitator for this residence hall community and to enhance the social, educational, intellectual and cultural development of each individual.  The Resident Assistant articulates to students the philosophy and policies of the Office of Residential Life and the University and represents the office as a role model in all facets of University life. 
 
Resident Assistants report to the Resident Life Coordinator and Assistant Director of Residential Life. Resident Assistants
are compensated with full room/board, including a single room, and the opportunity to learn basic skills in programming, human interaction and administration.
