Campus Alerts
At Harris-Stowe State University, the safety of our campus community is extremely important to us.  Therefore, in February 2015, the University invested in a new emergency-notification system.   (Please note that if you signed up to Fast Follow @HSSUAlerts, the system is no longer in active use.)

In the event that an alert needs to be issued, it is automatically sent to student, faculty, and staff campus email accounts.  Additionally, individuals have the option to receive voice messages and text messages.  To modify your alert preferences, follow the instructions below.

For students, your account name is your campus email alias (for example, jsmith345).  The default password is your student ID (for example, 12345).   If you are not sure of your password, please use the 'Forgot Password' option.  You may also email the HSSU Help Desk for account assistance (helpdesk@hssu.edu).  To login, go to https://my.hssu.edu/go?AlertMe

For faculty and staff, your account is your campus email alias (for example, jjones).  If you are not sure of your password, please use the 'Forgot Password' option.  You may also email the HSSU Help Desk for account assistance (helpdesk@hssu.edu). To login, go to https://my.hssu.edu/go?AlertMe

Once you are logged in, click on the Services option to add phone numbers for text messaging and voice notifications.  Additional email accounts may also be added.
