SLACO REGIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE

Harris-Stowe has been pleased to host the SLACO Regional Neighborhood Conference since 2010.  This annual conference convened by SLACO, the St. Louis Association of Community Organizations, is the premiere event for grassroots community leaders and activists interested in sharpening their skills and broadening their perspectives.

The conference presenters range from academics, government officials, and experts in neighborhood revitalization to those who can tell their success stories from the neighborhoods of the metropolitan area. The design of the full-day experience allows time for networking, learning from exhibitors, and sharing lunch with regional leaders in a small group setting.

The Center for Neighborhood Affairs has been instrumental in bringing the expertise of the University community to the neighborhoods through the conference.
