Harris-Stowe State University to Offer Marketing Degree for Fall 2015 Semester
Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU) is pleased to announce the Coordinating Board of Higher Education has approved the university’s proposal to offer a Bachelor of Marketing degree. Beginning in the fall 2015 semester, Harris-Stowe will have a total of 31 majors, minors and certificate programs; 17 were added since summer 2014 ). For the first time in university history, Harris-Stowe will offer completely online courses for degrees in Criminal Justice, Healthcare Management and General Education. In addition, HSSU added its first-ever certificate program in Urban Agriculture as a part of the university’s ongoing quality educational plan.

Harris-Stowe State University Crosses One More Hurdle in Race to Provide Graduate Degrees
ST. LOUIS, MO (May 8, 2015) — Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU) is one step closer to offering graduate degrees. The Missouri legislature passed Senate Bill 334, which if signed by Governor Jeremiah “Jay” Nixon, would allow the city’s only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) to offer a range of graduate degree programs.
