Angelle Banks, Admissions Officer

Banks joined the Admissions staff in January 2003 and brings with her several years of experience working with young adults. Her primary responsibilities include the recruitment of high school students, as well as providing assistance to nontraditional students with the admissions process. Prior to joining the Admissions staff, Banks worked as a coordinator at the Jackie Joyner Kersee Center. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Post Secondary Education Administration. Miguel De Araujo, Admissions Officer

Miguel de Araujo joined the Office of Admissions in the fall of 2013. He has been part of the Harris-Stowe family for seven years starting as a student in 2007 and graduating in 2011. His duties consist of recruiting transfer students and international students and guiding them through the admissions process. As a Harris-Stowe alumnus, he provides valuable information to prospective students regarding the institution and his own experience at HSSU. Michael A. Gibson Jr., Admissions Officer

Gibson joined the Office of Admissions in the fall of 2013. He has a vision for the future of higher education and enjoys mentoring young adults. His duties consist of recruiting prospective students regionally and guiding them through the admissions process. Gibson is dedicated to helping his students excel and putting them in the position to be future leaders. In 2010 he received the Linden Leader award at Lindenwood University for his leadership skills on campus. He currently holds a B.A. in Sports Management and a M.B.A. with an emphasis in Marketing.
