The AT&T Library and Technology Resource Center, located next to the Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Administration Building, is designed to integrate the latest technology with a traditional library setting. The library houses 90,000 volumes and more than 300 periodical titles. The library's holdings have a strong emphasis on educational materials due to the University's historic dedication to Elementary Education. Special Collections include the following:
The Juvenile Collection is a unique collection of more than 10,000 children's books as well as a special section on children's literature and storytelling.
The Urban/Multicultural Collection is not just a collection of African-American history and literature; this collection includes materials on all of the ethnic groups that have influenced the development of the United States, including Native Americans, Asians, Hispanics and various European ethnicities, as well as materials on the development of U.S. cities.
The Curriculum Collection is a collection of textbook and teachers' editions used in schools for grades K-12. The collection includes curriculum guides and auxiliary materials for classroom use.
The AT&T Library and Technology Resource Center participates in MOBIUS and reciprocal borrowing programs in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
