Thank you for visiting the Office of University Relations Web site at Harris-Stowe State University. Our staff is committed to the promotion and publicity of all events, programs and initiatives—internally and externally—at HSSU. This current academic year has been a year of many, many accomplishments. The Office of University Relations is extremely excited about a new policy that has been put in place. This policy, known as the Accuracy Check process, is something that ensures that everything that goes out with the University’s name has been reviewed by this office and is indeed accurate and promotes the overall image of the institution as a whole. While it keeps us busy, it’s quite comforting in knowing that everything reflects the same logos and verbiage that make Harris-Stowe look great and remain consistent at all times. Feel free to download your Accuracy Check Form today and drop off your brochures, fliers, posters, etc. by our office for a quick once-over.
Campus expansion is something that Harris-Stowe has been committed to and works to enhance constantly! The William L. Clay Sr. Early Childhood Development/Parenting Education Center is open for business and the babies and toddlers are having the times of their lives, as well as the staff of the center. This new environmentally friendly endeavor is one that Harris-Stowe is extremely proud of. We encourage everyone to help spread the word about the center’s services, and visit the facility’s Web page for more information on how your child or any child you might know can benefit. We’re definitely busting at the seams here at Harris-Stowe as enrollment continues to increase drastically from year to year, so we’re making room for more students to live on campus.
As always, it’s a great time to not only return to college and finish your degree, but to be a high school student looking to take advantage of an affordable, accessible education. You can’t beat all that Harris-Stowe has to offer. If you haven’t already, become a fan of Harris-Stowe on Facebook and Twitter. We’d love to have you on campus, so call today for a tour!
