• Communication skills and mathematics tutors are degreed professionals who work with students individually or in small groups. 
• Tutorial services are offered to enrich academic skills and to provide supplemental instruction for college course work. 
• Assistance is provided in reading, writing, speaking, mathematics courses, statistics and mathematical applications in the natural sciences. 
• Innovative workshops and test-preparation seminars are available.
• Various test preparation materials are disseminated.
• Printed materials, computer software and audio-visual aids related to mathematics and communications skills are available.
• Some reference materials are available to faculty on short-term loan.
