Prospective graduates should read the following information carefully. Pay close attention to the dates, which are important for a smooth degree conferral process. It is the student’s responsibility to know and meet all graduation requirements and deadlines.
Students eligible for graduation must purchase the necessary packet at the Bursar's Office (HGA Room 018) or request to have the fees billed to their student accounts. All graduation applications must be filed in the Office of the Registrar, HGA Room 007. Instructions for completing the forms are detailed in each packet. Specific questions may be directed to the Registrar and or Academic Advisement.
Graduation Billing Request
The charges for graduation fees can be billed to your student account, but the charges can only be applied to the semester in which you are graduating. If these charges are not paid, the student will not be allowed clearance for graduation. The balance for these charges must be paid in full and all holds must be cleared before a degree can be conferred. Late fees of $10 per month after the application deadline will be assessed, if applicable. Graduation billing request is available in the Registrar’s Office, HGA Room 007.
“Degree Only” Candidates
Students filing for degree conferral in a semester during which they are not currently enrolled must enroll in the applicable "For Degree Only" 0499 course and pay the one credit hour in-state tuition and fees in addition to meeting the requirements listed above. Graduating students must be listed on the official University roster in the semester in which a degree is conferred.
Graduation Application Deadlines
The fee to apply for graduation is $80 on or before the deadline. Students are assessed a late fee of $10 per month after the application deadline. (See the Graduate Information in the Course Schedule). For more information visit the Office of the Registrar, HGA Room 007.
