As the liaison between Harris-Stowe State University and the Harris-Stowe State University Alumni Association, our office assists with coordinating events and correspondence between the two. The HSSU Alumni Association strives to develop and implement the educational goals of HSSU by acting as a source of leadership in the educational and civic life of the St. Louis community, with special emphasis on the needs of urban education. The organization also provides active leadership in securing scholarship funds and awarding such scholarship funds to a junior or senior student enrolled full time while taking into consideration financial need, scholastic achievement, community responsibility and other such guidelines as may be established in the Alumni Association bylaws. Additionally, the Alumni Association serves as an advisor, consultant and advocate to HSSU, its students, faculty and administration.
