The mission of the Division of Academic Affairs is to uphold the academic integrity, core values and institutional mission of the University. The Division of Academic Affairs strives to continue the historical legacy of Harris-Stowe State University by creating an academic culture geared toward nurturing and producing scholars who will be dynamic and engaged citizens in a global society.
VISION STATEMENT
Harris-Stowe State University, an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), will be a standard of academic excellence among urban institutions of higher learning, offering broad and diverse educational and co-curricular experiences that prepare students to graduate and serve as leaders in the local, state, national and global community.
