Our Mission
The mission of the Office of Student Activities is to provide services, promote programs and maintain facilities that are responsive to student developmental, social, recreational and educational needs, whereas enhancing the quality of University student life. Through the work of its staff and various committees, the department will serve as a “laboratory” where students can learn and practice leadership, critical thinking, social responsibility, management, programming and interpersonal skills.

Harris-Stowe to Host Ferguson-Florissant DESE Training in the Aftermath of the Ferguson Tragedy
Harris-Stowe State University will host the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) in-service training for the Ferguson-Florissant School District in the aftermath of the Ferguson tragedy on Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Administration Building Main Auditorium.
Harris-Stowe Awarded $1.7 Million National Science Foundation Grant
Harris-Stowe State University has achieved another historic milestone as the National Science Foundation (NSF) announced the university will receive its second Historically Black Colleges and Universities-Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP) implementation grant for $1.7 million.
