| "HORNET ALUMNI MESSENGER" ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES |
| The Hornet Alumni Messenger is Harris-Stowe State University’s only publication that is published quarterly and is disseminated to all Harris-Stowe faculty, staff, students and alumni. The Hornet Alumni Messenger provides a comprehensive look at what is new with the University and its alumni and is the best way to promote your product, business and or event amongst the more than 2,000 members of the Harris-Stowe family. Advertising rates are very affordable with advertisements starting as low as $25 and just $150 for a full-page ad!

A nominal membership fee is collected to offset the costs of printing, postage and other operational costs. Fees paid to the Alumni Association, a registered nonprofit entity, are 100 percent tax deductible. This is your one-stop spot for what’s new with your alma mater and the HSSU Alumni Association. This quarterly will be released every September, December, February and May. | OUR PURPOSE |
As the liaison between Harris-Stowe State University and the Harris-Stowe State University Alumni Association, our office assists with coordinating events and correspondence between the two. The HSSU Alumni Association strives to develop and implement the educational goals of HSSU by acting as a source of leadership in the educational and civic life of the St. Louis community, with special emphasis on the needs of urban education. The organization also provides active leadership in securing scholarship funds and awarding such scholarship funds to a junior or senior student enrolled full time while taking into consideration financial need, scholastic achievement, community responsibility and other such guidelines as may be established in the Alumni Association bylaws. Additionally, the Alumni Association serves as an advisor, consultant and advocate to HSSU, its students, faculty and administration. |
