The initial contribution to join the Golden Blazer Giving Society will go towards the “Golden Blazer Endowed Scholarship,” a way to create sustaining and transformative opportunities for our students, empowering them to follow their dreams and - like you - achieve their full potential.

1. What is the minimum gift needed to join this Giving Society?

The minimum contribution is $1,000.

2. Is this an annual giving requirement?

No, your one-time gift grants you lifetime membership to the Golden Blazer Giving Society.

3. How will I receive my Golden Blazer?

Once your gift is processed, a member of our team will contact you with directions regarding our tailor and their process. Typically, the appointment will entail having your measurements taken for the construction of the blazer.

Golden Blazer appointments are done at various intervals during the year, so pay special attention to the time frame given to you.

Once your measurements are completed, we will pick up and hold the blazers until Homecoming, at which time we will present it to you during the Homecoming game.

4. What happens if I am not available to pick up my Blazer during the Homecoming Game?

If you are not able to join us during the Recognition Ceremony at Homecoming, you may pick up your blazer from our office, Rm. 115, Henry Givens Administration Building, during business hours any time after Homecoming Week.

5. What is the deadline for joining the Golden Blazer Giving Society?

You can join at any time during the year, but in order to participate in the Homecoming Recognition Ceremony, final payments must be received by September 1^st.

6. Is the gift tax-deductible?

Yes, less the cost of the blazer, which is valued at $120.

7. Is there a lifetime guarantee on the blazer?

Our tailor stands by his craft and offers various options for repair or re-fittings if there is any issue with the blazer after it has been received. Further details are available through the tailor during the fitting.

8. Is there a payment plan option?
